Kim Ji-soo (Bae Jong-ok) and Hong Joon-pyo (Kim Sang-jung) are married and already have a son, Kyung-min (Park Ji-bin). Ji-soo is friends with Lee Hwa-young (Kim Hee-ae). However, she didn’t know at first that her husband Joon-pyo is having an affair with Hwa-young. It was only discovered by Ji-soo’s sister Eun-soo (Ha Yoo-mi), when Hwa-young and Joon-pyo had a kissing scene in the kitchen while everyone was outside in a barbecue party. Eun-soo told the two to keep the affair secret, for she was afraid her frail sister will die once she gets wind of the affair. After Eun-soo threatens to beat Hwa-young up again, Hwa-young decides to tell Ji-soo about “her love for her husband who loved her in return.”
